Hot Air Balloon

We picked up Kanyl at 10:00 pointed the car south down the M6 heading for Great Haywood and a week on board Solace.  The journey was comparatively uneventful and not quite as congested as it has been sometimes.

#2 Daughter Kat was waiting at the Marina having just completed a week on Solace with her friends and ready to start a second week crewing for us.  As a result things were sorted out quickly and off we went.

We moored for the night opposite a tree.  We were out in the well deck enjoying the evening (and a drink) when Kat spotted a Kingfisher in the tree opposite.  It dived flew back up into the tree and then quickly flew away down the canal.  Only one member of the crew didn't have a camera to hand!  I will let you work out which one.
