Blue sky day

Went up to Calton Hill first thing, now that the tourist volume has lessened. Great views over the city to a somewhat misty distance. This is the 'National Monument of Scotland' with the Nelson Monument behind it in morning light.

Too nice a day not to go out again; to Newhaven by way of Victoria Park. One big cruise ship out at Lima, and one in at the cruise terminal. Back by tram.
