Unlocked Cabinet

If you have ever wondered what is inside these nondescript grey cabinets by the side of motorways here in the UK, well here is the answer….not a lot it would seem.

I was walking alongside the A1(M) this morning…on a segregated footpath I should emphasise…and I spotted this open cabinet next to one of those large cantilever signal gantries … the sort that just has a (large) support on one side and spans the hard shoulder and lane 1!

There were no maintenance crews anywhere so I guess it must have been left open by the last lot.

Let’s hope it doesn’t rain..can’t imagine it would be good to get water inside it!!
