Headquarters Trail

I went up early to Happy Jack with a friend who is visiting for a short time. She is here to give a talk at the university tomorrow on early navigation combined with The Tempest. It should be interesting. I'm going to go. She is an English professor in Texas. We met years ago in the Theater Dept. here. She needed her fix of the aspens and a good Happy Jack trail. Luckily we did the trail the correct way and we didn't get lost...lol. Another friend of Amy's came along and it was lovely to meet her. 
When I got home I rode my bike over to a friend's who has an actual apple tree (not that many make it here in Laramie) and I picked enough to make a crisp, which has turned out very well.
Another good weekend comes to an end.
