Cross-Country

I drove out to Pilot Hill for a hike this morning. As I parked, I saw all the runners. There was someone standing on the trail calling out encouragement. I asked if it was the high school but it was the middle school boys racing. The girls were afterwards. I didn't wait around to see them but it was kind of fun seeing the boys run. I like the way the trail winds around and it looks like they are going every which way. Laramie boys are in the dark shirts. I'm not sure where the ones in the gold are from. It was quite a variety of abilities. I always feel bad for the ones really struggling but I hope they stick with it. I could never do cross-country running and so I have a lot of admiration for them.
It was a nice hike and the rest of the day is spent doing odds and ends.
