Julian Alps

Today’s intention was to visit the Julian Alps. The day started grey but ended well.

Not the best day of our holiday as we visited 3 places which were not that local and of minimum interest.

Peričnik Falls were hard to access by car and of minimum interest.

Lake Jasna was pretty enough but a municipal lake. We tried to find a walk but all paths were beside the road

Zelenci Nature Reserve was also small.

We returned to Bohinj and I went up the cable car. The views were amazing and we could have walked there in the Julian Alps. Amazing views of Mt Triglav

A lovely homely dinner in a friendly restaurant. A beautiful sunset too
