Vintgar Gorge

What a place! What a walk! Amazing!
We were so lucky with the weather as it looked threatening the whole time, snow on the mountains above and the rain fell after we had finished.
For safety reasons we were decked in helmets. We had timed tickets and the first part of the walk was alongside the gorge for 1.6km. The river was very fast because of the recent rain.
The return journey was largely uphill and quite difficult ( for me).
We stopped at Bohinj on our way back for lunch and I bought some leggings for warmth.
On our return I had a massage.
