Entrance to Eddleston Village

Eddleston is a delightful conservation village in the soft rolling Borders countryside, only four miles from the county town of Peebles and eighteen miles south of Edinburgh. This morning early in Peebles for a delivery then back up the road, and stopped for this.

A friend of mine is just starting to build a house in this village. You can see why!
