The Watter o' Tweid

In all likelihood the River Tweed is going to play a big role in my blipping after the move down to Peebles in six weeks' time.

The Tweed is 97 miles long, and flows through the beautiful Scottish Borders. I believe it is Nirvana for salmon fishers. I am not of their number, but I appreciate the water's beauty and its varied moods.

For those who have had the local insight to ask - yes, the new house is well above the flood plain!
