The Graceful Dahlia

After breakfast, I checked my plants’ status. I wanted to use a unique dahlia today. It looked like this one but had two striking light pink petals. Unfortunately, it was starting to wilt and was not blip worthy. I took a photo of it yesterday (making it ineligible for today’s blip); I’ll include it as an extra. Hubby brought the camper from my mother’s today. He picked up meds while he was out. He plans to use his new dolly to get the camper into the driveway. Chris and Devyn will help him move it from the cul de sac tomorrow. I am concerned about the downhill slope at the beginning of our driveway. Jamie asked me to stay at his house from noon until the stove repair man finished his work. It was actually after 5:00 when I left. The guy changed out some electronic parts and everything seems to be working again. My sister stopped by and brought my children some frozen crab meat and dropped off a new plant for Jamie’s entry. I did a few of my outstanding tasks while there so I wouldn’t be too far behind losing a half a day of trip planning. Hubby took care of several small jobs while I was gone. One was cleaning our shower with a new gadget my sister gave him. Our water leaves stubborn mineral deposits so cleaning it is quite a task, one my arthritic hands cannot do. I made cheeseburger meatloaf for dinner. Hubby is very happy. It’s time to take a break so we will. Tomorrow and Saturday will be very hectic! Hope you can have a restful evening. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “The petals of the dahlia, are like tiny ballerinas, dancing on their tiptoes.” - Debby Pueschel
