I woke at 3 o’clock this morning and realised I’d forgotten to buy the most important thing on yesterday’s shopping list. I blame Sainsbury’s for moving everything around a few months ago. I did get back to sleep.

Thought I’d try Windermere but no luck at Booths so I walked down to the mini Sainsbury’s and found what I wanted . . . 40p more than it would have been in Kendal but still cheaper than driving further.

I did get a few photos in Bowness while I was out.

Walked down the hill after lunch to post a letter and buy a book of 1st class stamps before they go up in price. Then around the park and finally decided to pop into one of the outdoor clothing shops on the way home. Didn’t buy anything.

Surprised that my phone says I’ve walked 4 miles.
