I washed my hair, put a load of clothes through the washer and did a pile of ironing. I also wrote a shopping list.

Decided there was enough on the list to do a supermarket shop in Kendal. I took some shadowy photos outside Sainsbury’s but they have now been deleted in favour of this.

I’d gone outside to put the empty shopping bags back in the car when this van drove past and parked nearby. The chance of me having the phone in my pocket was tiny. Waited until the driver had walked around the corner before grabbing a few shots.
