Measure twice, cut once, etc etc.,

Today the weather has been less than lovely so I took some of mum's washing and put it in our tumble drier. Dad hasn't had a brilliant day but a doctor came out and has gotten him on some medication so hopefully he will start to perk up in the next day or so.

In the late afternoon I fitted a new roller blind into youngests bedroom. She had a Venetian one that had gotten quite tatty so hopefully this one will prove more rugged. It's from Dunelm and needed trimming to size. Am not well equipped for these things as the blip reveals but am happy to report it's installed and working fine :-)

In the evening I walked Shadow to mum & dad's with their washing, had a video chinwag with Ms.Arell where we shared memories of one of our cycling heroes who has sadly passed recently along with bestie generally defragging my brain a little! Then a cuppa with mum as the doggos played before walking home under a now starry sky to settle for bed.
