RNLI

We participated in a fundraising event for the RNLI, which consisted of a crew rowing to Musselburgh, having fish and chips on the beach and another crew rowing back. Since there were more people signing up than 2 crews worth, I didn't get to row but Katya and I still went for fish and chips. A percentage of the profit was given to the RNLI and we also all gave an extra donation. This year the club has managed to fundraise about £1000 for the RNLI. The boat was carrying a pirate flag an the crew all dressed up with was an extra bit of fun. The weather wasn't great but the spirit was good. 
I have been signed off work for two weeks - apparently, a lot of the symptoms I am having are signs of stress, which doesn't surprise me at all. I was reluctant to be off, but it is for the best.
