It’s That Time of Year Again
I made hubby and Parker French toast this morning. Parker was out on a grass cutting job so he had to eat his later. It’s been months since I made it. They were both very appreciative. We spent the rest of the morning searching high and low for the Euros I forgot to take to Germany in 2022. Hubby has to order some no later than tomorrow so we really had hoped we’d find mine. We quit when it was time to watch Brooklyn’s first soccer game of the new season. She was goalie for first half and on offense the second half. We won 2-0. Hubby and I met my sister and BIL at our mother’s where we enjoyed a delicious fried chicken dinner from the local Knights’ council. Our mother fell and hurt herself awhile back. We bought her a new thick and comfy seat cushion that helps with aches and pains in different parts of the body. It is one of her birthday gifts. My sister and I both have one and it works wonderfully. I dropped off this year’s White House Christmas ornaments (see open box on her table). They really are nice this year. We are heading home but have to take an alternate route due to a serious vehicle accident on our route. The road is closed; that usually means there was a fatality. Tragically, that is becoming an every day occurrence. I hope you had a carefree Sunday. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “Think of your family today and every day thereafter, don’t let the busy world of today keep you from showing how much you love and appreciate your family.” — Josiah
