Today didn't feel like autumn is coming, it was a scorching summer day. B and I started early for our 10,000 step walk, and saw these giant sunflowers in a garden on the way. The extra shows their height - well over two metres.

85 years ago today, Nazi Germany started WW II by invading Poland. And today, on this sad anniversary, two Eastern German states had their parliamentary elections, and almost a third of these people (including many young voters) gave their vote to the Neo-Nazi party AfD.

Like Adolf Hitler's party 85 years ago, the AfD are masters of propaganda, mainly using TikTok and other 'social' media young people are consuming most, for spreading their ideology and blatant lies. As a result, their voters are hating all other media, and don't believe in factual information. They are trapped in a bubble of lies, and democracy is crumbling fast.

It is a sad day for our country.
