Going Wild

A few years ago, a wild clematis self-seeded in the fence around our rubbish bins. We let it grow, as it’s a native plant and food for many species of wild bees.
I need to cut it back frequently now, as it grows like crazy, and tries to invade other parts of the front garden. But I still like it’s pretty flowers and fluffy seeds.

Last night, I didn’t get much sleep, due to the tropical temperatures and restless cats. By the time I got organized this morning, it was too hot for a walk or gym session, so I cleaned the house instead. In up to 32°C, that was enough exercise for me. Tomorrow’s forecast is for 34°C…
