Not as planned

We had intended to walk from the ski lift in Glencoe to Bridge of Orchy following the West Highland Way. The first hitch happened when the bus was held up in traffic sufficient to derail our plans to get everyone back on the 5 o’clock bus. We decided to alight in Tyndrum, which the driver needed some mild cajoling to do since we had technically past the bus stop, and walk the much shorter distance to Bridge of Orchy. We had a glorious walk with fine views of Ben Dorain.
Just be before we reached the station one our group, the youngest and very fit, fell quite badly. Fortuitously we had 3 medics who unflappably dealt with everything and after an hour or so S felt ok to catch an early bus home along with several of us.
Not the day we were expecting and a salutary reminder that experienced walkers on straightforward terrain are not immune from trips and spills.
