Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Our last juggler!

Yet another sunny, warm, not windy day. Could get used to this, but better not.

We may or may not have booked another cruise. We've been thinking about it for a while. But if Derek (our legendary dog sitter) is available (he IS!), and the cruise dates align, then it would be churlish NOT to book it!

After that excitement this morning, we decided to go into town. To the Apple shop, to be exact. JR declared that she 'needed music on her phone' for the gym. I have several dozen songs on my phone, somehow saved from when Apple stole/deleted my huge library of downloaded songs. These few remnants of a once impressive library are on her phone, but are blank. Unusable. And yes - NO CAN DO. We can't share them. The chap was suitably apologetic.

Town was mobbed. It was hot and sunny. And there was another juggler, of course, this time, he was on stilts. We watched for a while. Or, JR watched, Archie posed for the camera.

An old lady walking by said
'That dog thinks you're taking a photo of him!'

'I am. And he knows it.' She laughed.

We had an ice cream at the wee van. I have avoided ice creams there, knowing that the prices must be sky high. But the prices were very reasonable. Until I saw that the ice creams were actually miniatures (I exaggerate only slightly).
