Windfall

It was my first trip into work for a couple of weeks, and the after effects of Storm Lilian were very evident in the numbers of fallen branches, twigs and leaf litter in the park. 

The park keepers had already done a good job in clearing the paths, with the windfall gathered into piles to deal with when time and resource allows.

There’s also a real sense that the leaves are turning and autumn is imminent.
