Morning light

First wee often gives
some lovely light for photos!
Makes up for the hour :-D

This is the morning light coming over the hills in the village this morning, I was out at about 7am taking Leo for his first walk, he was evacuating the large amount of sheep poo he ingested yesterday, so it was quite a notable outing :-/
The rest of the day has been more pottering around the weather, we went to the tip to get rid of some old rugs and picture frames that were clogging up the outhouse, so that was a Good Job but it meant we were then hungry for an early lunch.  For our afternoon walk we picked a circular loop we had done a few years ago but we were reminded how much more Ben is struggling with uneven terrain now, it was just a normal country track but it had loose stones and tree roots and he was very unstable, it took a lot to keep him on track (so to speak!) There was also a little ford I had forgotten about, with a plank bridge that he couldn't even attempt to keep balance on so he had to traipse through in his walking boots.  Oh well, we made it and Leo didn't eat any sheep poo, so we'll call it a win!
