Ancoats

Run-down, red-brick joy.
Look up, feels like coming home.
Suburbs feel distant!

We used to live in the city centre and even when we moved out of town, I worked behind Piccadilly train station for years (no, not in that capacity!)  I used to love looking up at the different styles of red-brick buildings, from different eras and in differing states of repair.  I had an appointment in the ancoats area today and as I parked up, this beauty was just begging to have its photograph taken!
Busy as usual.  Ben's PAs didn't come because one of them had a family problem, so I had to re-jig my plans and I took him and Leo for a walk in the woods.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku re-organised some work and he came along too, which was lovely.  I spoke to my Dad and made a tuna pasta bake (Leo's favourite, so he sat and gave me puppy eyes until I gave him a lick!)
We're worn out now so it's a take away curry for Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I :-) Happy Bank Holiday everyone!
