New walk!

Red pill or blue pill??
Never thought about it as
we always turn right….

So we always turn right out of the house for our walks.. but a couple of days ago we turned left :-D We’re just crazy like that.. and it’s lovely!! Can’t believe we never did it! To be fair it was mainly to do with not being able to take Ben to places where there was uncertainty, as testing new routes and footpaths often caused issues for him, anxiety if the way was blocked or too muddy etc. It’s easy to continue to live within the previous constraints without challenging them but we’re very happy we turned left! It meant using a path that wasn’t well marked but was viewable on the OS map and we did end up in a farmyard which sometimes results in a lot of barking for either Leo or another well meaning doggy guard.. but today it was all good :-)
Later on we went into Penrith for coffee and a wander, I bought a woolly hat and some socks (clearly not deterred by the bank holiday heatwave!!) Very lovely.
Then I made some salad for tea and we popped for a pint, now thinking about a film to entertain us. All good in KCNQ2Haiku World!
