Between fen and mountains

The temperature got up to 33 degrees today. I had agreed to make up a four with a tennis family I know but they had arranged to start at 11am which was rather late. We played for an hour and a half or so and were careful to take shade breaks and drink copious fluids. I am over the Covid now but I am still not ringing at the summer school as one or two people still seem to think it is risky being near me even after eight or nine days. Covid still seems to strike fear into people’s hearts despite the current risks being low. It is a shame as I have missed out on various associated social events as well. I had to pop over to church to print out some sheets, but I went when I knew there would be nobody else there.
