St Mary’s Church, Attleborough

This is a back blip as I got caught up with things last night. But I wanted to share the lovely day I had.

I had planned to meet an old friend, and Attleborough was mid way between our two homes. We met at 11, had 2 hours of chatting and drinking coffee together, then went our separate ways. I hope we can meet up again in the not so distant future.

I then drove up into the high street in search of the church. Attenborough is one Norfolk town where a large branch of my family originate, and at least two marriages took place here in the 1700s. The family name of Littleproud I think is quite unusual but at one time there were a lot of them here! Sadly I didn't find any Littleprouds, but I had a nice walk around the church, which feels like it has a large support from the community. It was also nice that it was open.

After the church I walked up the high street and dropped in a charity shop where I git a few bargains to add to my card making stock!

Then home. After a dinner of katsu curry I persuaded Jon to pick blackberries with me on the allotment. There were also a handful of beans. In all a good day, and Friday I've got a flex day so no work until Tuesday. As I have nothing positive to say about work, my blips are limited to non work days. But we have another week off soon, so I should be back and sharing our days very soon!
