An Island Tree

I do like this wonderful beech (?) tree, isolated in the middle of a field, with a little island of wild grass at its base, surrounded by a sea of golden stubble.

We met up with daughter /granddaughters at J32 outlet for a late coffee/brunch. The youngsters were full of exciting tales about their little ‘glamping’ break (2 nights) in a yurt in Wensleydale. They may be off (somewhere else) again for a night on Monday…so looks like the dogs will be staying until at least Tuesday!


A quick shop for food on the way home…Leeds Festival arrival well under way, fortunately traffic not too bad at the moment and we got back smoothly.
