Black-tipped Diadem or Scarce Blue Diadem

A very busy day again in the Butterfly House. It is proving very popular on Wednesdays indeed with over 200 visitors again and loads of butterflies to entertain them. I’m always amazed at how many people are visiting for the first time and who didn’t know we were there. More marketing might be needed next year me thinks :) 

Today’s beauty is from the central countries in Africa and is a fairly large butterfly having a wingspan of 3-4 inches.
