Common Darter

This afternoon we went for a short stroll around Risley Moss in search of dragons and hobbys. 
We found plenty of common darters but only one Hobby flying high above the moss. Too far for a shot. 

In the morning I hosted a few photographers from Halton U3A in the butterfly house, which leads me on nicely to a quick reminder of the blipmeet planned for this Thursday at 10.30am.
