Oh, Moe…

Moe trouble. Moe and Peanut had their first face to face this morning…and it didn’t go well. After a face off, and a few hisses, Moe chased Peanut all over the farm, finally chasing her up a cedar tree. Poor Peanut was scared to death. Moe is easily twice her size, and he could hurt her badly, possibly even kill her. So we decided it was all for the best to find a new home for Moe, a one cat home. We took Moe to our vet to chip scan him. No chip. We started calling shelters, several of them, but it’s not as easy as you might think. Some shelters aren’t taking any cats at all, others have application forms that take two to three weeks to process. I am sad and bummed. He is the coolest cat with people, and maybe he would eventually with Peanut. Right now, we are trying to keep them separated and safe. I will keep you blip posted.
