Busy Bees
Today is the feast of the Assumption of Mary. We got up, showered, had breakfast and went to 9:00 am Mass. Earlier this week, Hubby bought me a bag of peaches that we put in the refrigerator. When I opened the bag for breakfast, all but three were totally rotten/moldy. We took them back to the grocery store after Mass and got new ones. We had a quick sandwich for lunch. I went out to our front porch and found this active bee hive. I do not think they are friendly bees. Not sure why it hasn’t caught my eye before. They were very quiet. Hubby will remove it without hurting the bees. Hopefully he will not get stung. He trimmed around most areas on the property but decided to stop at 1:00. I finished a few inside jobs and picked many fresh tomatoes. Then we both rested. Hubby checked with my mother’s friend on the proper process for getting a senior real estate credit. He then made an appointment to take my mother to get it done next Wednesday. I am making a meat loaf for dinner. Otherwise, we are finished for the day. I hope you have some down time today. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “Every mortal is a busy bee when he comes to the task that Destiny has set aside for him.” — George Adelaide
