Blue blue

My Wednesday was spent at Peterborough hospital enduring a nuclear kidney test, which consists of being injected with a radio isotope followed by four timed blood tests. Not in itself a big problem you’d think, apart from boredom and fidgetiness. In my case my veins have a mind of their own and will resist the needle by shifting away and if a cannula does go in, there’s no blood forthcoming. It took four attempts to get set up and it was exhausting. Extra: the aftermath :-)))

During one of the longer breaks I sat in a shady garden reading my book and looking at the colours and shapes in the building around me. I love blue!
