A trip out

I went to Leek in Staffordshire with two of my ‘crafty’ ladies. We met up in B & Q car park in Uttoxeter, then drove through interesting countryside. 

I was absolutely exhausted today, not sure why, but thoroughly enjoyed wandering round and seeing new shops. I got some sewing bits and pieces that I’m running out of.

It’s a very interesting place and I had intended to find out about the association with William Morris, but we ran out of time. Next time we visit we will be better prepared.

R headed off to Heathrow for a flight to Saudi Arabia early this morning. It’s now 10pm and I can see on my phone that she has just landed at Riyadh, just after midnight.
