A stunning sunrise

I woke just before 6 to see the orange glow across the landing. Had to check out that all was well as this isn’t the norm. 

Once down to the kitchen I had to have a cup of coffee and take in the atmosphere in the garden. Back to bed at 7 for a couple of hours. 

The plan was to get more planting done, but the thunder storm alert for 30 minutes made us move. Only one big plant in before the thunder roared and it felt as though the rain was being chucked out of buckets. Amber wasn’t impressed !!! It didn’t last for long, but started getting very hot so we abandoned that plan.

U3A craft this afternoon, the hall was surprisingly cool and we had an enjoyable time.
