Walls of wood

These are destined to be turned into pellets for pellet burners, which look like log burners but people seem to prefer them because they cause less mess. 
They certainly make a mess of the forests though.
Cutting trees for pellets is big business round here.
We had a little light drizzle this morning and the temperature has dropped to 23 degrees, much better!
