Epic

Elbows and I got up early to go swimming. It was a spot we’d been to before but we’d never ever swum with such an array of beautiful colourful fish. They were all around us, like we were swimming in an aquarium. Highlight.

We then went supermarket shopping which was much simpler second time.

Then once the troops were mustered, we drove off to the harbour again to catch up a cable car up, up and up. Beautiful.

Then with long queues and patience, WelshMan, Dot.T & NoaNoa, and then SkyeMan, HatBox and MightyMouse, got a toboggan down again. Quite an experience for them all I think. Wonderfully organised and a tourist hotspot.

Elbows and I then wandered back to the cable car to find that despite booking it, we missed the last car downhill. So to save the expense of the opportunistic waiting taxis, we headed down on foot and it was scary. Wrong footwear for an incredibly deep descent. We walked slowly and carefully downhill for an hour before being rescued by SkyeMan. Even cars struggle.

Eventually, having collected cars and gone home, we had a quick turnaround before heading out to eat as it was A&D’s last evening. They fly home tomorrow because of A’s work commitments.
