Sand, sea & soothe

Today we had an easy day.

A slow first couple of hours. We made some packed lunches and headed to Machico Beach, a sandy one on the other side of the island.

In the photo, it looks busy but it didn’t really feel like it. It was lovely. Loved swimming out to the raft and a few of us spent quite a while diving off it. Elbows and I found some beautiful colourful fish to watch & swim with.

We headed home late afternoon and had a home cooked meal, watched some Olympics and others made plans for tomorrow.
