A view from Jeanneb

By Jeanneb53

I’ve seen one!

Yesterday I told a blipper I hadn’t seen a Red Admiral yet,  well here one is!

Yesterday there were numerous Peacocks around the Buddleia which is actually my neighbour’s but it over hangs our green house. This morning I saw a Tortoise Shell and then later this Red Admiral. The only problem is, as you can see, the bush is a bit inaccessible and I had to take these straight into the sun!

Well that’s what your getting today I'm afraid as I had a bit of a wobble this morning. Literally got out of bed and felt really dizzy. The same yesterday when I got out of the bath. I put that down to the water being a bit hot (solar panels are very efficient in the summer) and after a lie down I felt ok.
Feeling better now but decided against church. At the monthly all age service we sit at the front and stand and turn to face the congregation to sing instead of sitting in the choir stalls, wasn’t sure that was a good idea.

To make the most of the day we’re having a BBQ for tea. First one this year I think! Son Alex will be here. We could have waited till next weekend when we’ll have the rest of the family here  but I’m not sure the sun will know that!

Looking forward to the Olympics Closing Ceremony tonight. I wonder what LA will come up with? I’ve seen their music line up!
