Vanille Fraise

Got my washing on a bit late this morning and by the time it has finished it was raining!

Got it out by early afternoon when the sun came through and as it was pretty warm I’m sure they will dry.

Before I hung the washing I went around the garden with my macro lens looking for flowers enhanced by rain drops. I’ve chosen one of the two blooms on my Hydrangea Paniculata. Disappointing there are only two flowers and the other plant has none. I liked the close up detail and the droplets sparkling in the sun. It does look a bit more Vanille than Fraise but the blooms tend to turn pinker as they age.

Making the most of the last of the Olympics, I always feel a bit lost when these things finish, same with the Six Nations and the Tour de France. They become part of your day!
