The canal walk

G had an opticians appointment in Chelmsford and planned a bus trip there so that he could walk back along the canal. However busses let him down due to council road repairs, so I dropped him off. Then I spent the day doing chores mostly in prep for next week's trip to Italy. I am glad to have it all sorted. G called having walked the entire canal and we met in the Basin for a drink. 

Then a trip to Maidstone to do more sorting out.
