Sandcastle competition

The rain showers started around 2 pm and we were ready to have an early day. Even though there was only 4 of us working we got quite a bit done. We started reclaiming some gardens for one client. We will be back there 2 or 3 more times over the next couple of months. From the jungle to the pristine. The second property doesn't need a lot of work to keep it looking good. Some shrubs needed to be trimmed and some of the beds need to be weeded because they have horsetail in them. Lots of deadheading to be done at this time of year too.

I sat in the truck in Eastern Passage tonight to have my supper. My usual Friday night burger and a milkshake. Despite some light rain I went for a short walk on the beach so I could see the sandcastles that had been built this afternoon. This was the most creative one, IMO.

I picked up some groceries on the way home. Now it is raining harder. A night to stay inside. Tomorrow I go to the valley to pick up some plants.
