Rocky Mountain National Park Deer …

… are growing their antlers. These boys are at different stages of antler growth and I am so glad to have stopped the car as, although we did see marmots, very different from our Alpine ones (see extra) we only saw elk from a distance as we sheltered from the pouring rain in the Alpine Visitor Centre with the rest of the world. Dramatic skies today, above the Rocky Mountains (extra). It seems we have arrived in the Monsoon Season. I thought that was an Indian thing!
