Venturing out in the hoolie…
Woke to grey skies and spattery rain. The cottage is positioned high up on the hill so the wind was strong too.
First day of holiday for us is always about just chilling and a brief explore of the surrounding are, but before we could do that it was time for a supermarket shop as couldn’t get a delivery. The closest supermarket was Asda at Pwllheli. Not an experience I care to repeat but we got what was needed. On the way back to the cottage we passed a petrol station in a pretty little village that has a lovely general store attached. They have a very nice fresh food range and bakery o we will do any remaining food shopping there.
The weather was pretty awful and the mist was low so no coastal scenery so we decided just to head back to the cottage for lunch and some welcome chill out time. Crochet and reading. Bliss.
Not having decent wifi is a blessing as well as a curse
