The start of the Welsh Adventure…
Wifi is non-existent at the cottage (and the surrounding are) so heaven knows when my blips will be uploaded.
We left slightly later than planned as I had to contact the health centre to organise more antibiotics (the current course hasn’t helped) Thankfully I got a call back almost immediately and a prescription was left at the desk for us to collect. Quick stop at the Pharmacy and we were on our way just after 10am.
Journey was straightforward. Stopped at Reghed for lunch, another stop for coffee at Chester services then onwards to the holiday cottage near Aberdaron.
Took about 15 minutes to find it as the sat nav brought us in from a different direction to the written instructions from the owner (brought us all the little backroads, which took longer but gave us wonderful views of the coastline)
The cottage is lovely with beautiful views of the countryside towards the sea.
Didn’t take long to unpack then we enjoyed the homemade Ragu that had defrosted during our journey.
Feet up and settled down to watch a film but think we had both nodded off before the opening credits had finished!
PS WiFi slightly better after midnight so posting this at 4am on day 4!!
