Expressive Landscape

I'm taking my first live art workshop since my back problems began and I'm enjoying it. It's being taught by a local artist, Anita Lehman. Her work doesn't necessarily seem abstract but it is and she helps me see the essence of what I want to paint. 

I had another steroid injection in my spine this week so I'm waiting for more improvement. I've definitely had some improvement but right now I'll have to go back every three months for a shot to stay okay. I hope for a time when I won't need this.
