Madrona trees

When I parked my car this morning by my art teacher's house i realized that these were madrona trees I was parking under. The photo doesn't really show the light coming through the loose bark. It was beautiful and the trunk is so soft.  Another good day in class. Now a lifetime to process what I learned.
