A hard day

My sweet Doug is right now sitting by his father's bedside, waiting for him to pass. I couldn't go with him but we've been there all day and last night, me in spirit 

It's hard to lose a parent. Doug's parents are both 92 and until very recently Doug would Skype with his dad every week and talk about politics, life, technology and aviation. Chuck was an international airline pilot for PanAm back in the day. They have a very loving relationship. I hope this hard part is over soon.
