wooden You Know It.....

I made a couple of things on the lathe this morning before SWMBO and I headed off to do our grandparenting duties of Monster Wrangling, taxi driving, shopping and catering for Bags & SIL.
They were going into Edinburgh for something to eat and drink for their anniversary, so of course I had to get them to and from the train station.
With the Festival starting and a football match on the train was packed when they got on. First stop down the line and nobody was allowed on. Second stop and some people pushed their way on. The train then didn't make any stops until it got into Edinburgh. Despite claims there were going to be extra carriages - there weren't, there were only 3. ScotFail at their p*ss poor best.
After they got home I had again to act as taxi to both collect them from the station and then take them to meet up a friend who is over from the Middle East visiting his parents.
Lord only knows when I will get the call to go and pick them up.

The Blip is the gate at the side of their house - I thought it was more interesting than the 3 shots of roses I took.
