Summer market

The village market is in full holiday swing with plenty of stalls. The trees, cropped hard in winter, are now providing plenty of shade. I was on the courts early again and once again had a very close match only decided in the super tie break but this time I was the loser. I had a quiet afternoon preparing for a service tomorrow. It is the annual street party tonight but unfortunately there was no reminder sent out. I forgot it would be this weekend so we will miss it for the first time in twenty years. Never mind. Instead, I accepted an invitation to eat with friends and that will be just as enjoyable.
