Wee Crook
Of all the times we have passed the old Crook Inn and seen the sign for a cafe, today we found it was actually open - not merely open but busy and very popular.
Our coffee and cakes (mandarin ? polenta for me and a fruit tray-bake thing that Mr Flum declared delicious) were very good, the service and decor excellent.
We did stop briefly at the Moffat Mill, continuing to the Lake District and picking up supplies before settling in to our home for the next few days.
Extra photo of one of our neighbours, who came to the newly-replenished bird table with it's two siblings.
