Fun in the sun

A week ago, as we left Bath, I blipped the girls lying on their tent which had been spread out in the garden for a pre trip check over.

The tent was fine and they have been enjoying a weekend away in it at Woolacombe in North Devon. Lovely to take a spontaneous trip away and make the most of the real summer weather at last. 

Been to church this morning. The first time in 3 weeks. No organist due to holidays. We tried the first hymn with a CD backing track but we couldn’t hear it very well and it was definitely ahead of us! So we did the remaining 3 a Capella.

Lovely sunny day, quite hot in the garden. Chris has started the grass cutting but because I’ve been removing weeds and spend foxgloves etc the bags are getting too heavy so it may need to be done in two shifts!

Good to see the sun is now out in Paris.
